Under the patronage of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and under the supervision of Prof. Salah Hadi Saleh, President of the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority / Student Activities Department, and in the presence of Dr. Hasnain Bassem Al-Shadidi, Director of the Ministry’s Student Activities Department, and Prof. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Al-Mustaqbal University hosted the Iraqi Universities Photography Festival (Male and Female Students), held from 15 April 2026 to 19 April 2026.

The festival witnessed broad participation from 43 public universities and private colleges, attended by the ministerial committee, representatives of academic institutions, and a large number of participating students.

Within this framework, Al-Subtain University for Medical Sciences achieved a distinguished accomplishment by winning third place in the Campus Live Photography category, reaffirming the excellence and creativity of its students in the fields of art and culture.

This achievement was made possible through the participation of the following students:

* Hashem Ahmed Hashem – College of Nursing and Midwifery

* Taha Hamza Abees – College of Nursing and Midwifery

* Haider Ali Najm – College of Nursing and Midwifery

This success was the result of the students’ outstanding efforts, as their photographs captured the spirit of university life in its daily details and highlighted the educational environment and the creative potential of its young students.

On this occasion, the President of Al-Subtain University for Medical Sciences, Prof. Rahim Mahdi Rahim, congratulated the students on this achievement, commending their efforts and reaffirming the University’s continuous support for meaningful student activities. He was joined in extending congratulations by the Administrative Assistant, Assistant Professor Muntadher Al-Taie, who praised the students for their distinguished representation of the University and the excellence they demonstrated
