A New Achievement Added to the Record of Al-Subtain University: President of Al-Subtain University Honors the Students Behind the Film “Athar” Following Their Gold Award at the Kirkuk Film Festival



The President of Al-Subtain University for Medical Sciences, Prof. Rahim Mahdi Rahim, honored the University’s students in the presence of Prof. Haider Al-Abadi, President of the Health and Medical Education Authority, Assistant Prof. Mohammed Fawzi Al-Qanbar, Dean of the College of Medicine, and Prof. Ali Kareem Al-Jubouri, Dean of the College of Nursing, in recognition of their achievement in winning the Best Film Award at the National Universities Festival.


As part of the festival organized by the Department of Scientific Supervision and Evaluation / Student Activities Department / Arts Division of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, hosted by Al-Kitab University in Kirkuk from 29 March to 2 April, and with the participation of more than 45 universities and colleges, Al-Subtain University for Medical Sciences proudly secured first place.

The film was produced by students from the College of Nursing and the College of Medical Rehabilitation at the University and represents the outcome of outstanding teamwork:
