Al-Sibtayn College of Medicine Council Discusses Enhancing Clinical Training Programs and Preparations for the Upcoming Academic Year


The College of Medicine Council at Al-Sibtayn University for Medical Sciences (the international branch of Tehran University of Medical Sciences) held its second meeting, chaired by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Fawzi Al-Qanbar. The meeting was attended by the Vice Deans for Scientific and Administrative Affairs, alongside council members, to discuss key dossiers related to the progress of the educational and academic process.

The council reviewed the recommendations received from the General Secretariat of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain and the University Council. Discussions focused on mechanisms to develop clinical clerkship programs and monitor their organization in accordance with approved academic standards. This aims to elevate the quality of practical training and enhance the competence of educational outcomes. Additionally, the council addressed students' academic and administrative affairs, prioritizing attendance and absenteeism to reinforce academic discipline.

Furthermore, the meeting covered preparations for the upcoming academic year and followed up on the implementation of academic plans, emphasizing the support for educational quality to achieve the college's goals in education, training, and scientific research. The meeting concluded with a strong emphasis on the importance of continued teamwork and adherence to approved strategic plans to advance the standard of medical education within the college.
