Emergency and Fire Safety Training Workshop

As part of efforts to promote awareness of health, safety, and public security, Al-Subtain University for Medical Sciences organized a training workshop under the patronage of the President of the University and the Department of Student Dormitory Affairs, in cooperation with the Civil Defense Unit.

The workshop focused on how to respond effectively to emergency situations, particularly fire incidents. It included scientific and theoretical presentations on risk prevention methods, proper evacuation procedures, and the correct use of fire extinguishers. Participants also received important safety guidelines and detailed explanations regarding the management of suffocation and smoke inhalation cases that may occur during accidents and fires both inside and outside the university campus.

The workshop witnessed active engagement from participants, who raised numerous questions and inquiries that were addressed by Civil Defense specialists. This interaction contributed to strengthening safety awareness and fostering a culture of preparedness among students and staff.

This initiative reflects the university’s commitment to providing a safe and stable environment while enhancing the readiness and ability of the university community to respond effectively to various emergency situations.
